Marie-Louise Collins is a young photographer based in Kamloops, BC.
Her interest in Art began at an early age. Taking drawing and painting classes throughout her schooling, Marie-Louise developed an interest in photography. She started experimenting with self-portraiture and decided to take a Film Photography class at Thompson Rivers University during the summer of 2009.
Within a year Marie-Louise has shot several photo shoots with agency represented models from Vancouver to Kelowna and has been hired to photograph weddings, portraits and band art work.
Inspired by many photographers - among them, Tim Walker, Paolo Roversi, Melissa Rodwell, and Mariano Vivanco - she is developing her own style themed with romanticism and fantasy.
Her work has been described as ethereal and has been featured in the Thompson Rivers University galley. She is a member of Arnica and of the Kamloops Art Council and is registered for a gallery showing with the Kamloops Art Council in 2011.
Marie-Louise is working consistently hard to develop her skills in the hope that someday her passion for photography will be her career.
